
TOPRA has announced a
new corporate strategy , setting out a clear and confident direction for the organisation and the global regulatory community it serves. The strategy was introduced at last week’s Annual Lecture and represents an important milestone under the leadership of CEO Samantha Atkinson, who joined TOPRA in June 2025.
The refreshed 3-year strategy defines TOPRA’s purpose, long-term ambitions, and the principles that will guide its work as the profession continues to evolve.
At the heart of the strategy is a clear mission: to be the leading organisation for regulatory professionals globally. TOPRA will continue to develop and support trusted regulatory experts, advance excellence in regulatory practice, and help shape better healthcare outcomes worldwide. Through education, events, insights, and a strong international community, TOPRA aims to support members at every stage of their careers, ensuring they are equipped to meet the growing demands of modern regulatory science.
Looking ahead, TOPRA’s vision is to help shape the next era of global regulatory affairs. The organisation is committed to pushing boundaries, advancing scientific rigour, and redefining excellence in the profession. This includes leading with innovative solutions, contributing to policy through meaningful partnerships and dialogue, and equipping regulatory professionals to make a lasting impact in an ever-changing healthcare environment.
The strategy is underpinned by a strong set of values reflecting TOPRA’s role as a trusted, independent professional body.
