President-Elect Election

The nomination period for the President-Elect role has now closed, and the review process is complete. We are delighted to announce our two nominees for the position of President-Elect.

Voting is now open and statutory members are invited to cast their vote to decide who will become TOPRA’s next President-Elect. Each nominee’s profile is available below to help members make an informed choice.

Voting will remain open until 3pm BST on Friday 24 April, and results will be shared once the election has been validated and formally accepted by the Board.

About the President-Elect role

The President-Elect plays a key role in shaping the future of our organisation and the wider regulatory affairs profession. Working closely with the Board, the President-Elect supports TOPRA’s strategic direction and, after serving for up to one year, will assume the role of President providing leadership to the Board, guiding organisational priorities, and representing TOPRA to external stakeholders.

This position offers an important opportunity for experienced members to contribute at Board level, champion the global value of regulatory affairs, and promote a dynamic, member-led governance culture.

Election process

Eligible statutory members have been invited to submit nominations, which have now been reviewed against TOPRA’s governance and eligibility criteria. Following this process, two candidates have been confirmed and approved by the Board to stand for election.

Statutory members can now vote online to select their preferred candidate. Once the voting period closes and results are validated, the successful nominee will be formally appointed by the Board as TOPRA’s next President-Elect.

Voting will close at 3pm Friday 24th April.
