The results of the elections to TOPRA's Board of Directors were announced at the Annual Review Meeting, which was held on 1 October as part of the TOPRA Symposium 2024 programme in Rotterdam. The Board of Directors is the legally and financially responsible body that sets the strategic direction of TOPRA and makes sure that all is running smoothly.
The President-Elect will be Steve Hayes, Aman Khera will become President, and Michael Kipping will become the Past President. Two Directors have also been elected for 2025: Harriet Edwards and Sean Russell. They will join our existing Directors: Eva Kopecna, Steve Lee, Sonia Morjaria and Alex Yates. The new Board will convene in January 2025.
At the end of the year, Áine Kane will step down as Past President, along with outgoing directors: Abbie Lennox and Abhishek Sinha. All were warmly thanked for their contribution to the Board during their tenure by current President Michael Kipping.
