Governance for Non-Executive Directors
Governance for Non-Executive Directors

Overview

Many senior and experienced professionals are interested in taking up a Non-Executive Director (NED) role and want to understand more about what is involved and what is required. This course focusses on UK organisations and the not-for-profit sector but the principles and legislation also apply to commercial organisations.

This course is appropriate for professionals considering both volunteer and paid NED roles. Many of the principles will also apply to organisations outside of the UK but the legislative requirements of other countries are different.

The course has been specifically designed with regulatory professionals in mind. You can follow the course at your own pace, interact with other delegates, the speaker and TOPRA Board members through the discussion forum. There is also the option to have further 1:1 discussions with the speaker for a small additional fee.

This course is ideal preparation for any members who are considering putting themselves forwards for the TOPRA Board.
