Eliana Silva de Moraes is a lawyer who is an expert in Food and Drug Law for Latin American countries and Europe as well as Risk Control and Crisis Management. She is also an International Health Law Professor and Director of the Master Health Law course at ISD. She has 26 years of experience in international pharmaceutical, medical device, cosmetic, food and cosmetic regulatory affairs, helping companies gain a presence in the Latin America markets and in Europe. She is a participant in the global harmonisation process and played an active role in setting the Brazilian Regulatory Agency, ANVISA.
Eliana graduated with a degree in Public Health Law from the Public Health School, University of São Paulo, Brazil. She holds a Master's Degree in Biomedical Law from University of Coimbra, Portugal and a PhD in Regulatory European Law on Public Health by Paris VIII University. She is a member of the Bar Associations of São Paulo (Brazil) and and Lisbon (Portugal).
